Copyrighted Material on Portfolios17:33 Oct 16 2006

As part of the House of Caomhnoir-An-Eolas, we have rules on how to rate profiles and portfolios. You could say we tend to police them, bringing to light anyone that isn't following the rules of VR. We don't do it to be vindictive, we don't do it to look down on someone, we are just trying to be helpful. When I find a portfolio, that has copyrighted material in it. I put in this note in the message.
"Unfortunately, some of your pictures on your portfolio are illegal from VR standards. Copyrighted material is not allowed here, if found by a admin, your portfolio could be deleted. I am rating you low per my house rules. If you removed the copyrighted material, I am willing to rerate."
Truthfully I am trying to be helpful. I have seen whole portfolios deleted and all the pictures lost when an admin finds it. But to get attacked back....

Comment: u got what u want u unartful ass
He deleted all the pictures himself. I sent him this note:
Ok i wasn't telling you to be cruel or picky or to be an ass. If you created and drew them, they were wonderful. But because there was no claim saying they were yours, I was just warning you before an admin saw it and deleted your pictures. I have seen them delete whole portfolios because of less. I'm sorry if you feel i was being unfair, truthfully i was trying to be helpful. Oh well.
Why do people have to assume you are attacking them, instead of possibly being helpful?

I suffer from Multiple Sclerosis...trouble is i have invisible symptoms. You can't see my fatigue, muscle spasms and pain. You can see me walk with a cane but think that i must be faking it, to park in a handicapped spot because i'm only 35. God i was even accused of being a drunk because of the one time i didn't have my cane and i was off balance (tend to get that way when you can't feel your feet). Add in, this didn't go over well with my husband being a cop at the time.
To get people to donate to the charity for MS, they need to show the worse case senario. Hence people in wheelchairs. But more MS patients are like me, able to walk but with invisible symptoms. I think i need to make a T shirt...for when i go shopping....I HAVE MS. Or keep wallet size pictures of my MRI's in my purse to show people...see i have MS. *sighs* Damn invisible symptoms.
